Born to Be Somebody

2024
An accordion book that explores my relationship with motherhood through the idea of obsolescence; how the roles of mother and daughter change as we become "obsolete.” The book connects these ideas to knitting, with a navigational system of hole punches in reference to the punch cards in machine knitting.
The book is 200 inches in length
The motion is inspired by the design system of the project, made with After Effects.
Vietnamese Women’s Museum
Identity, Motion
2025A hypothetical rebrand of the Vietnamese Women's Museum in Hanoi. The logo is inspired by Vietnam's matriarchal history, with its shape being a reference to traditional Vietnamese stilt houses.
Human, Nature
Print
2025Human, Nature, Human Nature, the book explores the relationship between humans and nature through the sequencing of found photographs. In Images and In Text considers how the connection changes as the information provided changes.
On Belt Buckles
Print
2024An exploration of artist's book, connecting the content to the form. The book contains pictures of belts, each accompanied by a short description with the name of the belt and the brand. The book is hard-cover bound with suede leather, with snaps that allow it to be attached or detached from the belt.
